Things always seem to fall short, and we keep wandering through the sands, looking for paradise lost. Am I the only one wandering? Or do you feel the sands, too? I just want to meet someone in the middle, who has crossed the same sands, so we can find the oasis between us and make it our own paradise away from everyone else. If we met in the middle, what would our paradise look like? It would have to have plenty of animals, and a garden (full of beans and fruit, of course). A fort and playground for the kids. Old books and fossils in a cool collection. I'd need a place for my tools, since I'd be making all the furniture and our house out of the palm trees.. I wonder if palm leaves could ever make a comfortable bed? 🤔 What would you bring to the oasis? “The choices we make are not merely momentary. They may be made without notice or hesitancy, but they are permanently fixed. Time changes many things, but our choices cannot be unmade and we must live with their repercussions as ghosts of past milliseconds, echoing throughout eternity.” -Me Gotta live with the choices we made and the results that followed. Repeating them is a mistake if you didn't learn anything. I've learned. And I know who doesn't deserve me, and who does. I'm a one woman guy, and she is going to get all of me.
