I rent a 2-floor apt. that seems big to me. The building is old but the apt. has been remodeled. This Montana town was once a big mining city famous for metals—mainly copper, but also huge amounts of silver, gold. Winters are cold, summers pleasant, water is good, and air is usually good except for some summers when there’s forest fire smoke that comes from the west. I’m now retired, paying most of the rent with my Social Security check. I make a little money trading an ETF online, or draw from savings. I taught Engliish many years in far eastern Asia, came back here about 20 years ago to stay. My health is generally good as I usually can enjoy the clean, dry air here. I have two vehicles that run okay but usually take the city bus because it’s free to ride and stops near my place. My ex-wife granted me divorce more than ten years ago; we’ve been separated for much longer than that and I don’t know her circumstances now. I’m an atheist who’ll probably vote Republican in the November election.
