Back in Cleveland
I just returned from a 3 month trip to Thailand. I was able to visit my children, tour some of the country, and fell in love again with the food and people. I am a widower and live alone. I enjoy learning about new cultures and places, cooking, traveling, home repair and maintenance. I was involved in technology before retirement, primarily the office equipment, printing, and computer industries. My daughters are Thai. My late wife and I hosted 5 exchange students for 1 year each. 3 of them became our daughters, we are very close. They performed the Raab Wai ceremony and promised we were their parents. I saw the same ceremony at my daughters wedding she did it for her Thai parents and her husbands mother. We met all their families and still talk, visit, and video chat all the time. After my wife died my daughters and their families were the first to offer and give me support as I was grieving. Even more so than my family and my wifes family. I could not be more proud of them and I am grateful they are in my life.
