EDIT: Please only reach out if your profile is filled. I can only respond to your smiles/emails based on whether we both want the same things. Please take time to READ my profile. This way, you'll know ahead of time if you are into what I am into or if you might be interested in learning something new. I need to know we have the same ethics, morals, desires. I may not be your cup of tea and my profile will help you figure that out... and vice-versa. Love, peace and sunshine to you all. I am a down to earth, fun loving, outgoing, Afro Latina born and bred in Brooklyn, New York. But I BEG you, if all you want is a hook up, please bypass my profile. Trust me when I say this, there are plenty of women who are looking for just that. I'm just not one of them but I wish you the best. If you should change your mind and I am still available, by all means, HIT ME UP! lol That being said, I am passionate about life, friends, family, acting, films, art, books, teaching, listening to Latin Music. I love traveling! I've lived in Spain, Peru, Dominican Republic & Puerto Rico. I've also been to Anguilla, St. Martin, Canada & Morocco. I volunteer with an organization that allows me to be a kid again while helping kids. We go into hospitals and entertain children who have terminal and/or long term diseases. We try to get their minds off of their problems. Getting a smile from a kid hooked up to a machine is priceless. As for what I'm good at, BS'ing lol. All in good fun though. In HS, I'd crank call my friends and try and sell them the New York Times. Lol English is my Second Language. I speak Spanish fluently. And if push comes to shove, I can speak flawless Italian and American Sign Language after a glass or two of wine. lol Favorite Books: Yes, I read a lot, for pure enjoyment of course. 1. The Alchemist: This doesn't even need an intro. If you don't have this book run out and buy it now 2. Hit List by Laurell K. Hamilton: Who am I kidding? I've read every book in both of her series. Some I've reread so much they are falling off of their hinges. And yes it's about Vampires and such but it's also smart, and sexy with politics as a backdrop. 3. Dark Night by Suzanne Brockmann: I love all her Navy Seal Trouble Shooters Series 4. The Celestine Prophesy by James Redfield: It really made me take a hard look at my spirituality 5. Tourist Season by Carl Hiaasen. Basically anything he writes. The guy is a genius when it comes to black, twisted and extremely addictive humor 6. The Gift by Hafiz: It's my meditation without the meditation. Favorite Movies: 1. Red 2. Galaxy Quest 3. 300 4. Star Trek: the new one with Chris Pine 5. Almost Famous 6. The Help 7. Black Panther 8. Dolomite is my Name Favorite TV Shows: 1. The Closer 2. NCIS 3. Grey's Anatomy 4. Modern Family 5. Life in Pieces 6. The Border 7. Mike & Molly 8. How I Met Your Mother 9. Community 10. Abbott Elementary 11. Orphan Black 12. P Valley 13. Lizzo's: Watch out for the big Grrrls. Things I can't live without: 1. Orange Juice. Don't judge! Its the best thing in the morning! 2. Family & friends 3. Vanilla coffee and Vanilla Creamer... OK, so I mix my vanilla coffee with some of my Café Bustelo cause I like my coffee strong. And I Bustelo is what I grew up drinking. Typical Caribbean household. 4. Audible. It has become my saving grace 5. My dog Bella. Best thing that could have happened to me.
