I am a natural introvert but I'm not anti-social, I just prefer spending time with my computers than with most people, for what I would hope be obvious reasons. I'm also an empath. My time is occupied as it is with most people by a 40-hour work week. I additional own a small business that just reached its 10-year anniversary in June 2024 and needs my attention from time to time although it is managed by one of my workers. I graduated with my master's degree in cybersecurity and information assurance in August 2023 so although I'm very busy, my current job allows me some flexibility as well as ability to make time for the things and people who are important to me. I've always thought that I will recognize those individuals who are kindred spirits as long as I keep the door open, but my last two choices never made it out of the gate and momentarily caused me to doubt my own judgment. I'm learning more and more to trust my own instincts and assessments. For any type of relationship to work for me, I need a genuine, visceral connection, the kind that will keep you on my mind - when I'm not on this site, when we're not communicating or physically together. The kind of connection that keeps me happy and content by the mere fact that you exist in this world. Where each and every encounter with you no matter the nature of that contact, leaves me happy and wanting more. If you're unable to hold up your end of a conversation or think intimacy is created by sending unsolicited and inappropriate photos, then I ask you to please not waste my time because even though I don't know you, I wouldn't be so inconsiderate of you as a fellow human being to waste your time in so callous a manner. If you can't initiate or engage in a meaningful conversation here on-site then I have no expectation that you're going to do any better if I give you my phone number so we can communicate off site. I do not give out my WhatsApp number just "so we can talk" when we can talk perfectly well on this site. If you are concerned about who I am or if I'm not "real", a simple perusal of my profile will show you that I'm a Verified member, meaning that the site knows that I am a bona fide person and not a scammer. I know this process can work, it has in the past and my sister just published some photos of her and her husband on his birthday and they still look as happy as they did on the day they got married. They just celebrated their six year anniversary yesterday. One last thing of note though. It is a red flag to me for a man to tell me he's "bored" as if I should be motivated in some way to relieve him of his boredom. It's not a compliment for a guy to indicate he's willing or wanting to chat because he's otherwise bored. The kind of man who would be a match me would never have too much going on in a positive vein to ever be bored, at least not so bored that he's lamenting about being so on a dating site.
