I feel like the best things in life are often hiding in plain sight, accessible to the discerning, patient, and original. It's like picking out a great classic book with a plain cover, rather than settling for a flashy-looking magazine that's ultimately unsatisfying. Some of my favorite things: Cinnamon, sunflower, and lime juice; Bubble wands at dances, parks, and subway stations; Opulent bed time with a puddle of body pillows, silk pillowcases and sleep masks, blackout curtains, and lucid dreaming; Studying enough economics and civics to distinguish between impactful initiatives in the public good from those that are just pretending (also called “greenwashing”); National Geographic (basically an adult picture book); trying to build friendships with extra large amounts of teamwork and openness. Only one of my parents graduated high school but I was able to succeed at Princeton University, driven by idealistic ambitions. I support socially impactful research in my work. I experiment in cooperative living and have visited a dozen different cohousing organizations in the area. Some friends and I organize an evidence-based charity club. I spend a lot more time outdoors than I do at the nightlife scene. I do lots of exploring by foot or bike, enjoy competitive frisbee, keep an agenda of hikes to do, and take time to say hello to wildlife I come across. Learning and reading is a big part of my life and sharing intellectual things has been a real positive in my past relationships. Some subjects I like are rigorous philosophy, cultural anthropology, science, health, and meditation.

I work during the day for the government but I train Pole Vault athletes through a private business that I operate in the evenings and on the weekends. With two full-time jobs, I work quite a bit and am very active. When I have spare time I like to spend it doing relaxing things mostly. I enjoy going to coffee shops and specialty cocktail bars. I like to find very nice restaurants and wine bars. My favorite time of year is Autumn. I love cool weather and the colors of the trees that time of year. It's one I spend a lot of my time walking places. Just trying to be outdoors. I enjoy the mountains and taking day trips out of the city, too small towns or villages. When I travel I love to walk around old cities and see the architecture of the buildings. I especially like traveling in Europe. I'm equally comfortable dining in a Michelin star restaurant in Paris, as I am hiking in the mountains or working on a farm with animals. I'm interested in something real and long-term. I want to find someone who enjoys laughing, who enjoys time at home, as well as exploring outdoors, who is passionate and interesting to me always. I like attractive women, but dislike arrogance.
